Andrew Parr, CAE

CEO

Chief Executive Officer of the College, fulfilling the responsibilities set under the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991 and the Naturopathy Act, 2007. These activities are conducted within the legislated objectives of the College, and with the duty to serve and protect the public interest. The CEO also: assists the College Council in its established governance structure, provides leadership, direction and guidance to the College on governance-related issues, supports the development and implementation of regulations, by-laws and policies under direction of the Council, ensures good management and fiscal practices, including oversight and responsibility for the annual operating, capital and cash budgets, and provides reports to the Ministry of Health (MoH) on activities of the Council and College.

Director, Operations

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Director of Operations has a primary focus of overseeing the day-to-day operational activities of the College. The secondary focus is to provide coordination and maintenance of the College’s resources. This role also supports governance and strategic operations through effective and efficient processes.

The Manager, Human Resources is responsible for managing and collaborating with all levels of staff and volunteers to support operations in human resource practices and processes in the areas of recruitment, recognition, health and safety, labour relations, compensation, training, development and compliance.

Human Resources & Administration Coordinator

Reporting to the Director of Operations and indirectly to the CEO, the Human Resources & Administration Coordinator provides strategic and organizational support for all Council and Committees led by the Director of Operations and CEO, General Operations, Human Resources, I.T and Accounting.

The Finance Coordinator primarily supports management of the day-to-day financial activities of the College and maintains College resources. This role supports governance and strategic operations through effective and efficient processes.

The Senior Communications Officer is responsible for providing leadership on all communications activities, including the Colleges’ print and electronic communication, website, social media and adherence to brand standards.

The Marketing Communications Officer is responsible for supporting the communications and event marketing activities, including the Colleges’ print and electronic communication, website, social media, and adherence to brand standards. They also support the College in providing services to the public and other stakeholders in French.

Erica Laugalys

Director, Registration & Examinations

Responsible for managing and overseeing the initial registration process, delivery and development of College examinations, the College's Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition Program and registration processes related to annual dues and information returns, professional corporations and class changes. Provides support to the Registration, Exam Development and Exam Appeals Committees.

Acting Manager, Registration

Manages the registration and entry-to-practise programs, including the collection of annual fees, annual information return, class change requests, professional corporations, applications for registration and maintaining the College’s Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) program. The Manager also supports the Registration Committee, and PLAR Committee.

Deputy CEO

Responsible for managing and delivering the Quality Assurance, Patient Relations and the Investigations, Complaints and Reports processes. Oversees the development and review of policies, standards and guidelines to help Registrants comply with their legislative responsibilities. Provides support to the Quality Assurance and Patient Relations Committees as well as the ICRC.

The Administrative Assistant has a primary focus of supporting the day to day activities of the Deputy CEO and the Professional Conduct and Professional Practice regulatory departments. This role supports governance and strategic operations through effective and efficient processes.

Manager, Professional Practice

Educates Registrants, stakeholders and the public on the regulation of the profession under the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991 and the Naturopathy Act, 2007. Guides Registrants who have questions about the legislation, regulations, Standards of Practice, Guidelines and policies of the College, as they relate to practice issues. Answers questions from the public about the practice of naturopathy in Ontario.

Manager, Professional Conduct

Manages the Complaints and Discipline Programs and provides support to the Inquiries, Complaints and Reports Committee (ICRC), Discipline Committee and Fitness to Practise Committee. Also the first point of contact for filing a complaint against a Naturopathic Doctor in Ontario.

Coordinator, Professional Practice

To coordinate and provide strategic support to the Manager, Professional Practice and the Deputy CEO in the Quality Assurance (QA) Program, as well as in the Inspection Program of the College. The Coordinator will coordinate the day to day deliverables of these programs to ensure effective and efficient operations.

Administrative Assistant, Professional Conduct

Reporting to the Manager, Professional Conduct and indirectly to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, the Administrative Assistant, Professional Conduct provides administrative support for the Professional Conduct program of the College. This role supports governance and strategic operations through effective and efficient processes.

Languages spoken:

In addition to English, some staff at the College will be able to assist the public in a variety of other languages, including German, Farsi, French, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Urdu, and Vietnamese. The College will also receive translation support for individuals who are unable to speak any of these languages listed.
