Your Voice isn’t Just Welcome—It’s Vital to Our Work
Our role is to serve the public. To succeed, we need the public’s help. Here are some of the ways you can get involved with the College.
Join the Citizen Advisory Group
Are you passionate about patient-focused care? Want to make a difference? The Citizen Advisory Group brings patients’ voices and perspectives to health care in Ontario. Its members provide essential feedback on topics including professional rules, standards and policies, strategic priorities and public communication, so a diverse range of patients and experiences is critical.
Participate in Open Consultations
The College regularly consults with the public on issues such as health care policy, standards of practice and much more. We need feedback not only from naturopaths and other health care professionals, but from patients and all Ontarians. That’s where you come in.
To find out which consultations we’re currently running and share your feedback, visit our main consultation page.
Sit on Our Council
Almost half of our Council is made up of members of the public appointed by the provincial government to provide a public perspective on the issues and trends that shape our work. To learn about how you can apply to join, visit the public appointments page on the Government on Ontario website.
Volunteer with Us
We also need members of the public to sit on our committees, including those focused on Discipline, Quality Assurance, and Registration.
Find out which positions are open and how to apply on the Volunteer page.
