Discipline Outcomes

Decisions and Reasons

The College of Naturopaths of Ontario became the regulatory authority governing naturopathic doctors on July 1, 2015. Since then, all disciplinary matters governing College Registrants are determined by a panel of the Discipline Committee.

Decisions and Reasons for disciplinary matters are posted on the naturopath’s profile in the Naturopathic Doctor Register, which is part of the College’s Public Registers. Copies are also posted below.

For hearings held after October 25, 2018, all exhibits filed with discipline panels, as well as any other information specified by the Discipline Panel according to the Rules of Procedure of the Discipline Committee, are publicly available. Due to the volume of documents, some exhibits may not be available for download directly from this page, however, all exhibits can be requested by contacting complaint@collegeofnaturopaths.on.ca or calling 416.583.6010.

Decisions and Reasons—Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy Naturopathy

The Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy – Naturopathy (BDDT-N) was the regulatory authority governing naturopathic doctors until June 30, 2015. The BDDT-N ceased to exist on July 1, 2015 upon proclamation of the Naturopathy Act, 2007 and the establishment of the College of Naturopaths of Ontario.

Before it was dissolved, the BDDT-N concluded several disciplinary matters. Decisions and Reasons posted during the five years prior to the act’s proclamation are included in the Colleges’ Naturopathic Doctor Register and can be found below.
