Updated Self-Assessment Requirement
Posted On: December 13, 2021
One of the many ways the College helps protect the public is by providing naturopaths with tools to help them meet their professional and legal obligations as regulated health professionals. Our Quality Assurance (QA) Committee plays a key role in responding to issues that matter to the public and/or to NDs. The QA Committee has updated the Self-Assessment tools of the QA Program as one way of fulfilling this role.
For the 2022 renewal year, Registrants must complete a total of three (3) online self-assessment questionnaires. This includes one mandatory Record Keeping Self-Assessment and two additional self-assessments of their choosing. These questionnaires will guide Registrants through questions designed to check and correct their practices related to various Standards of Practice and Guidelines. While the College will not review individual Registrants’ responses, it will confirm that Registrants have completed the questionnaires as a declaration on the annual registration renewal form (due no later than 5:00 p.m., March 31, 2022). The questionnaires take about 30 minutes to complete.
For NDs who would like to get a head start on their QA requirements, please visit the College’s Self-Assessment webpage and begin filling out the questionnaires.
