Reminder: Registration Renewal Opens in February 2022
Posted On: December 13, 2021
MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
Registration renewal opens 9 a.m. EST on February 14, 2022
All Registrants are responsible for renewing their annual registration by the deadline of 5:00 p.m. EDT on March 31, 2022.
Renewal includes completing an Information Return Form and paying your annual fee. Not renewing on time can result in incurring additional fees and being sent a Notice of Intent to Suspend.
Fees for the 2022–2023 registration year will be announced and posted to our website by mid-January 2022. Included in that announcement are details about the Payment Plan Program, which will once again be offered to Registrants who wish to pay their annual renewal fee in 10 equal installments rather than in one lump sum.
If you require an accommodation (e.g., due to a disability) to complete the annual renewal, your request along with supporting documentation must be received by 5:00 p.m. EST on March 2, 2022. Accommodation requests, or questions regarding the process, may be sent to registration@collegeofnaturopaths.on.ca.
Things to do now
- Insurance—Make sure your professional liability insurance is always up to date to avoid being unnecessarily suspended and having to pay a reinstatement fee.
- CPR —Make sure your CPR certificate is up to date. Registrants in the General class must have valid, healthcare provider-level CPR certification, renewed every two years.
- Class change—If seeking to renew in a different class of registration, your class change request and supporting documentation need to be submitted no later than 5 p.m. EDT on March 17, 2022. The change of registration class application forms can be completed and submitted online on our website.
- Other changes—If you’ve moved, changed practice locations, emails or any other contact details, you are responsible for logging into your account and updating your profile within 30 days of making any change. Ensuring your information is up to date prior to renewal will make registration renewal a faster and easier process.
