Announcing In Conversation With: Entry-to-Practise

Posted On: April 14, 2022

Practising naturopathy in Ontario requires several important steps be taken, including registration with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario.

As part of our vital mission to protect the public and support safe practice, all applicants, ranging from recent graduates to NDs from outside the province, are required to meet entry-to-practise (ETP) requirements to ensure they have the knowledge, skill and judgement to practise the profession safely, competently and ethically.

If you’d like to learn more about (ETP) requirements in Ontario, this In Conversation With session, featuring Erica Laugalys, Director, Registration & Examinations, and Maryam Katozian, Acting Manager, Registration, is meant for you!

Join us for a discussion where you can learn more about the steps involved in registering as an ND, including the various ETP exams, and the application process to assist you as you prepare to make your transition into practising in Ontario.

The In Conversation With series highlights staff, council members, and volunteers of the College and gives them an opportunity to answer questions from Registrants, students, new graduates, applicants and the public about the College’s role and mission, policies, and more, in real time in a fireside chat or townhall format.

How ICW Works

The ICW series is a facilitated session.  Registered participants are invited to submit their questions in advance of the session. This  allows the College to group questions into themes and to collect additional information that may be helpful to participants.

The facilitator will pose questions received to the featured guest, who will respond. Participants are then invited to pose follow up and clarifying questions either live or via the chat feature.
