Notice of Registration and Professional Corporation Fees Change
Posted On: January 6, 2026
Each year, the College applies changes in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) to the annual registration fees paid by registrants of the College. This increase is mandated in section 18.04 of the College by-laws. These changes are based on the year over year index for All Items – Ontario for the month of November. This notice of the fee change is required in the by-laws.
As published on December 15, 2025, the CPI for All Items – Ontario in November 2025 indicated that consumer prices had increased by 1.9% when compared to the same index in November 2024. As a result, registration fees will also increase by 1.9%. Additionally, as part of its decision on December 10, 2025, the Council has authorized a $250 annual fee increase applied to all registration fees, the funds from which would be moved directly into the College’s reserve funds. For more information on the fee changes, please review the Council briefing note on the by-law changes related to fees and information and the by-laws.
This fee increase is effective for the upcoming registration renewal period for the 2026-27 registration year, which will open on February 13, 2026, and close on March 31, 2026. The fees affected and the new rates are as follows:
- Annual Registration Fee – General Class – $2170
- Annual Registration Fee – Inactive Class – $1215
- Annual Registration Fee- Emergency Class (class not open) – $354
- Late Renewal Fee – All Classes – $510
