Draft Quality Assurance Regulation
Under the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991 the College is required to have a Quality Assurance program in place to promote continuing competence and quality improvement for its members. The draft Quality Assurance Regulation will form the foundation for the Quality Assurance program. This draft Regulation defines the nature and scope of the Quality Assurance program through continuing education and professional development.
On December 14, 2011, the transitional Council of the College of Naturopaths of Ontario approved the final drafts of the Regulations and on December 19, 2011, one day in advance of the target date established by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, the draft Quality Assurance Regulation was submitted for review and approval.
A copy of the draft Quality Assurance Regulation and Regulation Submission Overview, which was submitted to the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care is available in PDF format for download.
